More photos

Here are some photos of my work place. What you can't see is the unreal heat and the coating of fine sand.

This makes it more real and close to home. Seeing the surroundings certainly puts some concrete-ness to it. I'm pleased you could do this.

Erd!
It was great talking on Skype. You're finally online! The pictures are amazing and strange, for us Stateside folk. Like Mom said, it really brings it home. Especially coupled with the map, which I updated. It's here: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=112073593696576428237.0004346d57d17dddf6894&ll=34.678736,43.549461&spn=0.145966,0.293884&t=k&z=12&om=1
I'll send you some stuff by mail soon.

Here's the map as a normal link. Hope it works...

PS: You might have to click the 'Satellite' button on the map to see it. And you can zoom in quite close. Looks very sandy.

Its Mitch from the Netherlands. I'm surprised to hear you are all the way there, must be touch.

I like reading your blog and look forward for more posts about your life there.

Good luck

Great photos! I can't imagine the heat off of that cement slab. Working on a package to mail, after seeing that walk you make in the heat, all I can think of is Gold Bond Medicated Powder. Also, Fantasy Football is coming again if you want in. Corey

Have been thinking of you over there. Brings back memories of when I was waiting for Rick to get back from overseas during the Vietnam era. Really enjoyed the photos. Also nice to have a way to communicate versus snail mail. Take care and stay cool when you can!
